made this young man appreciate his surroundings and his
task in life.
Washington began at an early age, playing the piano
and writing music. He continued to develop his music by attending
Delgado Community College. He later continued his
development by attending the Edwin Hawkins Music and Art
Seminar and the Gospel Music Workshop of America.

and understands the power of “God’s” music along with the
discipline needed to pursue a career in Christian Music. This
understanding has allowed him to open for and perform with
Darryl Coley, James Moore, Keith Pringle, Shirley Caesar,
O’Landa Draper and the Associates; background for Kirk
Franklin; LeAnne Faine (currently with Dr. Bobby Jones and
lead singer for the Thompson Community Singers); and the
list goes on.

churches and several choirs in New Orleans. His Love Community
Singers is an extension of this multitalented musician
and writer. They have performed in theatrical presentation,
“Only the Strong (by Bennie Rogers); Born to Sing and
Wicked Ways (both Broadway presentations).
Washington joined Mylestone Records, fall of 1998.
This is his first record deal with any record company and
Washington’s goals are to give his best as well as hope that
some one will be touched by his music.
Washington enjoys working with youth and giving
youth a positive choice. Washington’s project, “Giving It All
We’ve Got” was release Early Fall 1999.
Now Tom is returning with a brand new twist as a solo
